About the event:

Antigua Guatemala. I never thought my career would take me here. I'm in tears as I write this. This film is it for me. This, is the climax of 15 years pushing to be the best I can possibly be. This, to me, is an exact replication of what I have worked so hard for over the years. Two unique families building up their children, loving God, for this moment in time. It is true magic. God is faithful, and it was prevalent as I spent time with Katherine and Alec's families.

So many prayers went into this moment. So many late nights, hard conversations, skinned knees, car rides to school, piggy back rides, hugs, first moments. You see, life isn't easy. It is a lot of work to get to a moment like this. As a parent, I can assure you that a ton of prayer and work went into getting these two to this moment.

That is why when I was putting this film together, I wanted to show more than just the wedding day. Because a wedding is so much more than the wedding day. It is the culmination of two lives coming together. Countless memories, all balled up into one moment. I want my films to showcase what I know is going on in the parent's minds as their kids are walking down the aisle, or as they give a speech.

Humankind is so beautiful, and I believe I get to capture the magic of it all when I capture a wedding. Whether it is nestled in between volcanoes in Antigua, Guatemala, or in your back yard, it is all magic to me.

Katherine, Alec, and family. Wow. I don't even know what to say. I can only hope this video is something you could never get tired of. I hope it helps you to remember Christ, and why His plan is perfect. I can only hope that I told this story justice for you. It means more to me than you know to have spent time talking with each and every one of you over the week in Guatemala. From my conversations with Mom and Grandma about Poppy. Or talking to Alex about being a father and all that it takes to get to this moment. Or the countless memories I was there to capture.

So thank you. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for being vulnerable and fully soaking in this moment. I hope you find new things about this film every time you watch it, that show you just how much time and effort I put into every single little moment in the film. From the music choice, to the timing of shots, and everything in between. Thank you, for letting me serve your family with my gift.
