Swan Lake Overlook Wedding Video for Payton and Andrew in Georgia

Payton’s dad had me crying basically the entire weekend. I know what it is like to be a dad, and thinking about that day I am going to let go of my little girls, and trust that God has them exactly where He wants them, with the right husband. I flew out to Georgia to Swan Lake Overlook in Dawsonville to film this wedding weekend for Payton and Andrew. I was their for their rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, hanging out at their Air BNB, and the wedding day. I immediately connected with Payton and her mother Stacy over our first call. They had seen a film of mine and really had paid good attention to what I bring to a wedding with my videography, which meant a lot to me.

I mentioned if they wanted to send me some links to some home footage, I would love to see anything and everything. Little did I know that the speeches, and the home footage would line up so perfectly. I love being able to incorporate different layers of time into the wedding film. Hopefully when watching this, it makes you really think about all that goes into a wedding video. I hope that it makes you really appreciate what a wedding truly is.

This entire weekend in Georgia was one that had me reflecting on what is truly important in my life. To watch these two families surround these two individuals, and give their blessing, was a beautiful thing. I am so humbled and honored to play a small role in their wedding day. I hope this video becomes an heirloom that showcases true love, God’s love, for the generations to come.

To Payton, Andrew, and the family, thank you for trusting me. Thank you for inspiring me. I am lucky to have been at your wedding. I am lucky to get to do this for a living and I don’t take it lightly. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did making it.
