One thing I have noticed over the years, is that the couples who have destination weddings have a much more intimate time with each guest. You just get more time with each person, and the wedding isn’t limited.

I have been on Catamaran tours of Capri in Italy, Sunset cruises in Cabo, and paddle boarding with the wedding party in Telluride. There are so many ways to extend the celebration by having a destination wedding.

So many of my couples extend their trip by an additional few days, or even use the location for a honeymoon. Your guests are always looking for an excuse to go on a vacation, so why not give it to them?

Once you return home, the celebration doesn’t have to end. You can host a reception for friends and family who couldn’t attend the destination wedding. It’s a chance to share highlights from your wedding video with a larger crowd and relive the magic of your special day. This is a great way to get around having to invite everyone to the destination wedding, but still getting to see your extended list of friends and family. You can get dressed back up in your wedding attire, or keep it casual. We’ve had couples play a recap of their wedding video for everyone, and are still able to receive gifts, and connect with their friends and family who couldn’t make it to the destination wedding.
