Luxury On The Ranch – Intimate Ranch Wedding in Houston Texas – Houston Wedding Videography

Caroline and Jack were married on their family ranch an hour outside of Houston. I was lucky enough to film her sister’s wedding in Telluride a couple of years ago, and was humbled and honored when they asked if I’d come film for these two.

The main thing about what I do is family. When a family opens up and lets me play a small role in theirs, it means the world to me. So when Julie, Caroline’s mom, asked me to come and do another one of her kid’s weddings in Houston, I HAD to be there. Caroline is a meteorologist in Houston, and grew up on their family ranch, in love with the weather. So when there was a chance of severe thunderstorms on her wedding day, it hit too close to home.

All day, we were worried that we would not be able to have the ceremony outside, but she assured us that the weather readings would cause no storms in the area at ceremony time… and she was spot on. It rained in the morning, but after that, we had the PERFECT day filled with family, memories, laughter, and a few tears. When I got into wedding videography, I never knew that it would take me around the world, filming weddings for amazing couples just like this one.

To the family, thank you for treating me like one of your own. For letting me play a small role in capturing the moments you cherish so much. I can only hope this wedding video lives on in your family for the next generations.
