Jessica and Ryan’s Extravagant Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club Wedding Video

When I first talked to Jessica, she said that the wedding was going to be a bit “extra.” Especially when it came to the flowers. She was definitely not kidding. The Fleuriste blew us away (as always) with their amazing work. Jessica’s vision for her wedding was beautiful, and to be honest, we had to pinch ourselves a couple times during the day because of just how stunning it was.

But enough about the “extras,” let’s talk about these two really quick. I came up to OKC to film the rehearsal the night before, and immediately fell in love with this family, and their story. These two have a connection that was special. Their families had a connection that was special. We had dinner, and then drinks on a rooftop bar in midtown. So many amazing stories of college, friends, and the love between these two.

Some of my favorite moments on a wedding day are when the father of the bride gets to see his girl for the first time in her wedding dress. Call me a softie, but I cry pretty much every time. This time was no different. When Jessica’s dad saw her in the dress for the first time, he presented her with a ruby that was over 100 years old, and had been in their family since 1915. Her great great grandfather gave it to her great great grandmother, and it has been in the family ever since. Tears flowed.

The day was filled with these special moments. The entire OKCGCC was full of flowers, beautiful design (Blair Sims killed it), and family that were there to all celebrate this special love between Jessica and Ryan. There is honestly so much more I could write, but I would leave you with this.

Gorgeous weddings like this are amazing to shoot, but they aren’t the same if the couple doesn’t have that look in their eyes. Jessica and Ryan had that look. The wedding was beautiful, but the love these two have for one another somehow surpassed that beauty.
