Traveling to Kansas City for this wedding was a dream come true for me. When I first got the call from Rachel, she LOVED our videos, and really wanted us to be there. A few months passed after our initial talk, and I figured that she went with someone local. But she called out of nowhere and said “I just can’t find anyone I love as much as I do you!” I knew I was going to enjoy this one =)

When a bride calls and tells you that, you just want to work EVEN HARDER for them. From the moment we arrived on the wedding day, we were family. Like legit, they treated us like one of them. Which meant the world to me. The wedding reception was at The Carriage Club in Kansas City, and the ladies over at Quintessential Events, Sarah Quinlivan & Christina Renfroe killed it. Not to mention the GORGEOUS flowers from Branches & Twigs. But I will have to say that the custom dress by Ryan and Walter had to be my favorite. It is just too gorgeous to talk about. You will have to just watch the video. So many more things I could talk about, but I will move on!

I do have to talk about Nick for a second. Not only was he genuinely one of the nicest grooms we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, he was not afraid to show his emotions. That is a deadly good combo if you are a wedding videographer. With the trust that we had built with Rachel and Nick, we were able to capture some AMAZING moments. Like when the groom cries when he sees the bride walk down the aisle. It was so sweet! Not to mention their first look. Ah! You just have to watch this already!
