Maria and Bennett’s Sparrow Wedding Film in Stillwater, OK | Highlight Film

Maria and Bennett’s wedding was extravagant in every way possible. As soon as we walked into the venue, our jaws dropped. George, The Fleuriste, had created a masterpiece. The hanging flowers above the dance floor took our breath away. Seriously, it was hard to comprehend what was going on in front of us. Not to mention the decor being perfect, but Maria and Bennett, they were even better. Every time we talked to them leading up to the wedding, it was so calm and peaceful. Maria was always so easy to work with, and always so helpful in making sure that we had everything we needed.

The night before the wedding, we drove out to Stillwater to film the rehearsal dinner. We have to stop here for a second and say we love when we get to do a rehearsal dinner. Not only are the speeches at the rehearsal pure gold, but it gives us more time to connect with the families of both the bride and groom. The speeches at Maria and Bennett’s rehearsal were so sweet. Especially from Bennett’s mother, and Maria’s brother. We can’t wait for you to see them in the video!

Ok, now back to the wedding day itself. The weather, let’s just say it wasn’t ideal. It poured rain all day long. But that didn’t make Maria or Bennett upset. They just kept smiling and went on with their day like nothing. I seriously can’t put into words how easy it was to work with these two. I know some people (myself included) might have been a bit bummed out by the rain, but they just embraced it. Luckily, it stopped for just a bit after the ceremony so we could grab some video and photo.

Let’s talk a little about this wedding and reception. The Sparrow in Stillwater is gorgeous. Such a big open space to create magic, and that is exactly what they did. The flowers, the cake, the decor, all amazingly put together by Southern Charm Events. The Mariachi Band was so awesome! Every single little detail was perfect, and we can not wait to share it with you! Too many amazing moments to write about, we think it would be best to just let you watch the video!
