Meagan and Reid’s The Springs Event Venue Wedding Video | Feature Film
Meagan and Reid’s story starts back when they were both boat drivers at Kanakuk, a summer camp. They were both boat drivers, and Reid couldn’t help but be interested in Meagan. Fast forward a few years, and here we are at the wedding at The Springs Event Venue. We can’t get over these two. Just the love for each other is radiant. Almost felt like a movie, or a fairytale. They wrote beautiful letters to one another, and when we asked them to describe the other one, they both lit up. This wedding was centered not only around their love for one another, but their love for Jesus.
After the getting ready moments, we went outside for the first look. Reid’s reaction was so genuine and priceless that we had to watch it about 20 times in the office because it was that good. Ladies, you want a man that looks at you like Reid looks at Meagan. We were pretty sure he almost passed out when he saw her for the first time. You will have to check out the video to see it!
Let’s talk about the weather for a second. You’d think that a Saturday in April on the lake in Oklahoma would be perfect. The days leading up to the wedding were in the 60s and 70s. But for some reason, not on this day. The winds came in, the sun stayed behind the clouds, and it was barely over 40 degrees outside. When I arrived, Meagan was making the difficult decision to have her wedding inside. The dream of having her lakeside wedding was not going to happen. I saw something in her that was very telling of her personality. You could tell it destroyed her on the inside, but she kept her calm. She remembered that the day wasn’t just about a pretty backdrop, but it was about her, Reid, and their love for God. When we put that into perspective, everything else faded away. Not to mention, the Springs is beautiful on the inside, and we were able to get the ceremony set in front of their grand staircase which was still quite beautiful! The wedding party (pretty sure there were over 20 of them) braved the weather so we could get some video and photos outside the venue, and it turned out great! Best of both worlds for sure.
After the ceremony, we had a blast at the reception. It was filled with so many fun things, including our favorite QUESO. They had so many friends and family attend, and everyone was just so happy for the two of them. The night finished with a grand exit, and the couple driving off into the distance. A perfect night filled with family, fun, food, and love.
To Meagan and Reid,
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for trusting RP. I truly feel like you all are family, and my kind of couple. Thank you for loving each other, loving Jesus, and just being you on your wedding day. It means the world that you chose me to document your day. I hope you enjoy this for the years to come. If ever I can do anything for you, please let me know!
