Lauren + Matt | Calamigos Ranch Wedding | Highlight Video

When we got the call from Lauren to film her and Matt’s wedding, we were so excited! We had filmed 2 of her friends weddings, and they were both going to be at the wedding too. It is always such an honor for us when we have a group of friends that use us for their weddings. We pour ourselves into these wedding films, and to have brides tell their friends about their experience with us always means the world.

The wedding was at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. When we pulled onto the property we were floored. Being from Oklahoma, and traveling to California dozens of times each year, you’d think we would get used to it. There’s just something about the sunlight, the trees, the weather, that just sets the mood for a beautiful wedding day.

Lauren and Matt’s wedding was just outside their reception, on a deck, with a waterfall in the background. When we say waterfall, we really mean it. A huge wall with amazing water features as the backdrop for the wedding. The ceremony was filled with laughs, and a few tears as Lauren and Matt said “I do.” After the ceremony, it was into the reception. We haven’t laughed as hard at speeches as we did at this wedding. Matt’s guys really made sure they took their time to really give it to Matt.

When this day was all over, we had to look back and just soak in how awesome it really was. We are so thankful that Matt and Lauren had us film the wedding, and we hope you enjoy!
