Kristen + Gary | Asbury United Methodist Church, Camp Loughridge Wedding | Tulsa, OK

Kristen + Gary were married at the Mason Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church. As Kristen was getting ready, she opened her letter from Gary and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. His gift to her was a Bible, with her new last name on it. Kristen did all she could to hold back the tears as the moment became real to her that she was about to be married. They then shared a first look just outside. Gary couldn’t help but smile as he turned around and saw his future bride-to-be for the first time in her dress. They snapped a few pictures before they had to be tucked away before the guests arrived. The ceremony began and Gary took his place at the front of the church. Kristen and her father made their way down the aisle as Gary smiled. The ceremony was filled with scripture the couple had chosen, and words from their friends and families.

The reception was at Camp Loughridge. Before we went in, we took Kristen and Gary down by the pond as the sun was setting. The photographer, Brittney Ashton, made it incredibly easy for us to take a few minutes and snag some amazing shots. When you add a pond, the sunset, and a beautiful couple you get some amazing results. Kristen and Gary’s reception was filled with dancing, laughter, and even a first dance that included a little bit of “The Wobble.” Speeches and toasts were given, and the couple spent the evening enjoying friends and family.
