Jason + Joanna | Padua Hills Theatre Wedding | Claremont, California

Some wedding days seem too good to be true. For us, Jason and Joanna’s wedding was one of those days. We love getting to travel to Southern California, but this wedding was extra special for us. We were able to work alongside a good friend of our Erin from Erin J Saldaña Wedding Photography. We first met her at Ben and Courtney’s wedding in Malibu, and then were luck enough to film her and her husband’s wedding at the Carondelet House in Downtown LA earlier in the year. She told us about Jason and Joanna and they seemed like the perfect RP couple. Joanna, from the first moment we emailed back and forth, was so pleasant to work with. She was the ideal bride for sure.

When we arrived at Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont, we were blown away. The ceremony was set on the mountainside under the trees outside, and it was absolutely perfect. From the beautiful floral arrangements by Irises Designs, to the chandelier sparkling in the sunlight it was stunning. We spent the afternoon filming at Joanna and her girls getting ready. From the moment we walked in, they treated us like family. Some of our favorite moments have to come when Jason and Joanna read their letters to one another. As the ceremony began, everyone’s eyes turned toward Joanna as she made her way down the aisle. The ceremony was filled with smiles, and a few tears. After the ceremony, the guests were stunned by the beautiful reception. Every last detail was absolutely beautiful. We had a few moments to take Jason and Joanna outside with the mountains as a backdrop. They made their grand entrance and danced the night away. We were so happy to be a part of this wedding, and are so thankful that we met Jason and Joanna
